This is a card for my stepdaughter's MIL, who is going through cancer treatments. She's a dear woman who could use some encouragement.
I downloaded the background paper from Digital Graphics and printed it on some lightweight watercolor paper that will go through my printer.
I put into the MISTI and stamped the inked portion of the sentiment, using the large "prayers" stamp as a guide for positioning. After stamping, it was matted and attached to the card base.
I used the die twice to cut the word from paper matching both the mat and the card base. The die cuts are layered just slightly offset to provide a shadow. I attached it the card and added a few sequins.
As always, thanks for looking!

Oh, Jody, this turned out so beautifully! What a dream-like background to hold that thoughtful and comforting sentiment, and I love the offset "Prayers" and the well placed sequins! Hoping and praying for your step daughter 's MIL!!

Magnificent work, JodyLynn. Love that paper. It's so delicate and muted in color. Great idea to create the shadow on the sentiment. Your SD's MIL in so love having this beautiful card in her hands knowing you are praying for her health. Beautiful work on this card, too.

Wonderful dreamy and serene card, Jody. Very clever to use a digi DP....don't have the mounds of DP lying about. : ) Your card will be admired, appreciated and loved.
