Terrific challenge today. I thought I would try to use my alcohol inks for this one. I came as close as I could to the colors. I used Tim Holtz butterscotch, lettuce, and stream. At first when I put the ink down on the glossy paper I didn't care for it, but when I cut leaves out of them, I thought it looked great! I curled the ends of my flower petals and layered everything on. I stamped the verse in taken with teal, then summer sun, and finally garden green. I lined it up with my stamp - a - ma - jig. I wanted to give it a layered look, but I wish I had stopped after two colors instead of going with three. I thought the upper right corner needed something so I punched it with my favorite corner punch. Then I layered it onto another layer of white and traced around the top layer with a green, glitter gel pen. In spite of my words being too blurry, I really like how this came out.
Thanks for looking!

GORGEOUS! I LOVE the design, your leaves and image. Wow, you really knocked this one out of the park. Let me pin the blue winner on this one, girl. You earned it.
