Has white card base but my scanner is terrible and does not pick up on it, then white piece with the flowers stenciled on it for background in colors. Used eb folder for the strips on top of background piece. Printed out and colored the puppy and die cut, sponging inside with blue and outer edges pink, stamped For You, added half gemstones popped onto card base. Made sentiment, backing it onto aqua and popped up added gemstone. tfl

Oh my gosh how cute is that dog! He sure does look guilty playing in the flowers! LOVE that image and the colorful way you completed your card. This card will definitely bring smiles!

What an utterly adorable little pup - and the sentiment is so funny. It makes me think the pup has run a long way to deliver it.
p.s. you could try laying a piece of kraft or neutral cardstock over the card in your scanner? I used to do that sometimes if I needed a white base to show well - in my pre-digital camera days.

This is adorable - sure brought a smile! (It reminds me of long ago when the little kids brought bedraggled dandelions!)
Ditto to Cook22's idea - except I used to have a piece of black cs cut slightly larger than the actual card.
