For this challenge we were to use the:
1) DSP Perfectly Artistic or
2) Make a choice of 2 colors. If we chose the color focus we were to make our own background paper in a water color-y, runny-looking dsp.
I decide to do the second.
I created the background for my focal point by filing 2 pans with shaving cream, dropped several drops of Daffodil Delight ink in one and Tempting Turquoise in the other. I pulled the ink through the shaving cream and then "dipped" my Whisper White paper in the shaving cream. I used the backside of a plastic knife to scrape off the shaving cream. I made sure my inks had thoroughly dried before I assembled my card. |
