| | This is a pretty "clean" card for what I think of as mixed media so I am hoping it fits as I used watercolor and embossing techniques (although they are completely separate.) I am just getting back into stamping and have never done one of these challenges, so let me know!
I used watercolor paper so the stamp didn't make a very clean impression but I kind of like the look. I was going to just pull the color into each petal and started to do that but it didn't work, so I left the flowers and watercolored between them instead. My technique was to use ink squeezed on the top of an ink pad with the Zig Watercolor Brush, which I went over several times to get the Apricot Appeal a bit darker. I had to cut off the top of the card, hence the smaller size. The rock and roll inking technique was new to me so thanks for the challenge! |
