When we did MIX125 back last June, I loved how my cardstock turned out and I saved the scraps. Yesterday I pulled that scrap out and made it into a tag. I went through my stash of papers and pulled some journaling cards that my friend Debra had given me. I quilled some roses from scalloped circles of typing paper that I dyed pink. I added punched green leaves. I did rock and roll technique per this week's challenge on the birds. I started with the chipped sapphire ink and added the pine needles ink. I also added gold metallic rub to the birds. I stamped the notes with the chipped sapphire ink. I edged each of the panels with gold metallic rub and layered them with a piece of cheese cloth that had been sprayed with gold shimmer spray. I finished it off with the twine and little gold key. This is also for this week's Word Art Wednesday. It has been awhile since I did a Word Art Wednesday challenge. I hope to do them more this year. Thanks for taking the time to read about my card.

Oh so pretty!! You've used some of my favorite embellishments again!! Your birds look sweet amongst the pretty flowers and textures. I like the way you have them singing a sweet song.
