This is for Wanda's super fun Tickle a Teapotter challenge. Sorry that I am a bit late to the party - bath time for the girls is probably over so I thought bath time for their pet bird Clara might be in order.
This background was started during the recent VSN; I was a bit ambitious to think I could finish it in under an hour LOL. I am so glad to use it for this tickle, it is supposed to look like a rain forest waterfall - I know, it's a bit of a stretch but please work with me as I am slowly melting. It is mid afternoon on New Years Eve here; the temp has just hit 41C / 106F. It has taken forever to get anything to stick on the card, even my double sided tape is melting!!!
Clara has been coloured with my new Spectrum Noir pens (Teapotter - Mary Octoberbabe enabled me to buy these, thank you Mary I love them). The background is a combination of school glue, Izink, Distress Ink, Dylusions ink spray and enough water to sink the Titanic.
The bathtub was made with a left over piece in my scrap box. It was originally made with kitchen aluminium foil, adhered to cardstock then dry embossed and rubbed with black acrylic paint. I stamped a Stamping Bella bath stamp and made a template, then traced it onto the checker plate scrap.
Thank you for looking.
Note to anyone who tickles me: Please don't spend too much on postage (or enclose goodies). I am always thrilled to receive any card from a Teapotter, it doesn't have to be the one uploaded if it is bulky or oversized. Happy new year everyone - see you in 2016 at out tickle tea parties.

All smiles here! This is FABULOUS!!! Starting with that background and the things you used to create it, right up to the bubbles, the awesome coloring and that SO fun bathtub! It's not just the background effect that you create, it's what you add to it that make it SO spectacular! Just LOVE this one!

Susie, LOVE the rainforest waterfall as the backdrop for this card, showing Clara in that nice cool tub - at 106 degrees, I would opt for anything cool too! The bubble die is PERFECT for this week's theme and looks fabulous against the BG. Love all the stamped images depicting the action in the rainforest - the birds, flowers and 'dotted' magical doohickeys!

I keep remembering you are so far away, but keep forgetting the different seasons we are in, so bizzare, as I am shivering here, well warmed up some as I am snuggled in my fluffy fleecy onsie....( yes I have reverted to childhood and am wearing a onsie...lol...got a new one for Christmas too so now have 3...lol.
This card is AWESOME sis...:0) Actually the first thing I saw was the pretty blue bg and waterfalls, even before I read it. Wouldn't that be a wonderful place to have a bath, just like our buddy here. Our furry friends need to have treats and have a nice hot bath too. Especially in funky tubs like this cool one, and with such neat bubbles like these ones...glad you could join us and I hope you get cooled off....HUGS

Oh hurrah, a bird bath!!! I need one of those in my garden, LOL. Then my robin wouldn't have to use a rain-filled pot tray. I'm not sure I want enough global warming to also give me a rainforest, though, even one as amazingly beautiful as this is I trust Clara is enjoying a nice cold bath. Great use of the die-cut, too. Stay cool if you can!!

Oh Susie, this is so cute!! What a fabulous bg you created mate! I love all the stuff you do to make your bgs! Wow, and the shimmery bits truely look like water flowing down! You MUST be melting mate, yikes! I hope you have a stream or lake to jump into!!
I love your little birdie and his bird bath too!! What a great idea to trace and cut out. I never think of that. If I don't have a die I just don't think of it!! You are a genius!! (of course, I've always known that about you mate!)
I love your rain forest!

Fantastic card Susie, all the elements are marvelous together and your bg looks like a lovely waterfall to cool off that poor hot bird! Hope you get a break in the weather and that you have A/C! Happy New Year my friend, I look forward to seeing more of your marvelous creations.
