 | | This card is dedicated to Perfect Paper Crafting with big thanks for the generous Hope You Can Cling To prize that they donated. I was a lucky winner and finally had a chance to try out some of my new products. The muse for this project came from the Inspiration Challenge to use the Anthropologie website. I'm looking for some new wall decor for my family room, so I wanted to look at that category. When I spotted this set, I was immediately enthused for my card making.

I thought of the Good Things Grow stamp, which surprised me because I haven't used in years. I started my color choices with Pantone's Color of the Year for 2016, which is surprisingly two colors this time: Rose Quartz (used Blushing Bride) and Serenity (used Marina Mist).

My new Perfect Layers tool enabled me to easily & quickly make borders for the 4 squares. It was my first attempt and I'll need more practice, but I can't wait to try it again! Practice makes perfect. It's a really neat device. It's a lot faster than my old method! I used the Perfect Airbrush lightly on the background with my Pear Pizzazz marker. I really liked that I could use an airbrush with a nice delicate result instead of heavy splotches. Thanks Perfect Paper Crafters. I love my prize! Thanks everyone for looking! |
