 | | Here's another one for the WTUI Challenge using left-overs and goes towards Word Play Challenge for the Fan Club Monthly theme of a Long Winter's Nap. I quickly made this one to get it in the mail today. It's going to a senior man, who is a family friend and going through a tough time. December 3rd is "National Roof Over Your Head Day", which inspired the use my new window die for the first time. Using left-over retired DSP pieces, I create a view through the window to see houses with roofs. The sentiment will hopefully be encouraging and it fit the topic nicely. I think he'll get a smile out of this card and the celebration of this funny holiday, especially since he did construction in his younger years. For the theme of Long Winter's Nap - hopefully you are napping inside a home with a roof. One day after a long winter, you will awake from your nap; look out the window and all the snow will be gone from the roofs!
Word Play - DOZE
D - Delicate Dots DSP
O - Open Window
Z - Zig Zag punch
E - Encouraging sentiment
Do you want to hear a joke about a roof? Aww, never mind, it's over your head!
