I creating the background by rubbing distress inks onto craft mat, spritzing and then dragging the watercolour paper through it a couple of times. Also some sponging to clarify areas, and sponging more distress colours through stencils. I stamped the birds with archival black ink then coloured with Distress markers and a water brush to pull the ink around. Die cut and mounted with foam tape for dimension. The bling on the sentiment is from Queen & Company. I'm obsessed by Crazy Birds - watch for more coming!

Thank you for your compliments! I got so much fun out of the backgrounds that I made up about a dozen. Now comes the fun of putting the birds on them! They always make me smile, too, Susie!
