 | | I made this for Wendy's A Little Kissing F4A challenge. I hope I got the right idea - I know Wendy said stamp your image a bunch of times, but I understood that the idea was the same as referenced in a video someone posted in GST a while back (Woodland EF video by Frenchie), so I only stamped my bear once.
I do believe this is the first time I have used my Forest Branches ef for a use indicated by its title.
I stamped my bear with Memento Rich Cocoa in the ef, embossed, and then brayered with Pumice Stone. I sponged some green into the foregroud, too. I strengthened the colour in the bear with a pencil, and added his eye back in with a white gel pen and black marker.
Layered it onto kraft sponged with brown. For the base, I did a sort of faux woodgrain with greens instead of browns, and scored it at half-inch intervals. I added some gold mesh ribbon, and a leaf cut from watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils. To finish I added a sentiment tag. |
