This is my card for Emily's HYCCT1518 challenge. She wants us to pick a famous painting and use it as an inspiration to make a card.
Here is the painting I chose. It's titled Rosa Kosmeen by Heidi Reil. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had the perfect designer paper to create my masterpiece.
I used the "painted blooms" collection from Stampin'-Up. I let the dsp do the work and I just stamped my sentiment.

Beautiful. I like how we can use DSP to be the focal point of our cards. You positioned the paper nicely to give room for the three larger flowers and the shorter flowers to show as well. It doesn't look crowded at all. There's even a nice place for the sentiment circle. Great job. Love the words! A very pretty card. A lovely painting to choose for your inspiration. Thanks for participating in HYCCT with your lovely card.

Fantastic 'painterly' card! I love your inspiration piece and how you adapted to your card. As said above, your sentiment panel is expertly place and very pretty!
