 | | My Dad asked me to make a card that he could give his sister for her 80th birthday. I hope you can see today's sketch in her though I've modified it some. I'm also using this week's color challenge colors which I adore! I started by dry embossing my dp with the cherry blossom tree ef I sponged the embossing which acts as my horizontal strip on the flipped sketch. I added glitter pen highlights to the flower parts. I have layered a doily, a diecut Crumb Cake Circle and a punched Baja Circle. I cut my flourish in Mossy Meadow. I stamped the tiny flower in Baja then punched around that with the flower punch. Sponged the edges then used a Crumb Cake marker to add the "etched" lines and some glitter in the centers. I popped one and used glue dots on the others. I diecut my numbers. I used markers to ink the three colors on the sentiment then diecut with the Bitty Banner Framelit and popped this. I stamped the inside so Dad doesn't have to write his own sentiment. |
