Oh, Kathy, first of all, I'm so sorry that you've lost two friends at an early age to cancer. It's such a tragedy and heartbreaking. I lost my mom to breast cancer, and it is devastating to so many. I think this is a beautiful card in memory of these friends, and I love the sweetness of this crazy bird, and I love the sentiment (such a wonderful quote from Emily). Tender hugs!

Hugs for your loss! This is a wonderful way to honor your friends. I love that your bird is pink and is wearing the bow. Thank you so much for playing in my challenge!

Thanks for the lovely comments! I appreciate them so much! Now that I have spent the week getting to know this web site, I hope to get on board with more challenges even though October is very dear to me ..... I will be mailing some ten cards to Houston, TX on Monday.
