I made this one last night as we were trying to hit 1,000 cards in the gallery but I was so poky that others got us to the goal before I uploaded so I waited for the morning. I have a whole stack of this pretty dp (Big Lots find) and I've played around with it a lot trying to use it different ways. For this Ann's challenge to strengthen your dp, I dry embossed the branches with tiny flowers and then sanded them to expose the white core. I diecut the floral shaped piece and sponged it while in the die. I diecut a sentiment to layer over it and used another strip of dp behind to pull the colors together.
Are you playing along with us? If not, you're missing out on the chance to lift the spirits of women battling breast cancer at MD Anderson, and also on prizes from your favorite crafty companies. So what are you waiting for? Go stamp something pretty!

Gail,
So glad you added this card, it is so pretty and a great asset to my challenge! Love that you sanded the paper, adds so much interest to the paper!!
Oh! I can see the embossing! Cool! Great card. I like that you show an example of a different way of doing this challenge. I kept thinking of using a whole sheet but even a little will do!!
