IC514 - Shell Inspiration

This is my card for IC514. The challenge was to be inspired by the shells on a board on Pinterest. I chose this shell for my inspiration.

I had a little trouble because I thought I needed to dress it up and I was mistaken. What attracted me to the shell in the first place, was the simplicity. I added some flowers to the butterflies and for me, it ruined the card. So I started over, and IRL the card is better than the picture I took.

I was inspired by the simple white and off white of the shell in contrast to the black background. I made butterflies instead of shells, but used the same colors.
