I made this by stamping the leaves in versamark and clear embossing. I folded the paper many times, flattened it out, and then sponged over the designs using about 4-5 colors of distress ink. It resisted the leaves I had stamped and filled in to create lines or cracks on the folds. Fun technique.

Polly, your little tag is so cute, with its cut-out heart. But what I really love about this card is that amazing faux-batik panel. It is beautiful, and I absolutely must give it a try! Thanks for playing along in my HYCCT challenge!

This is a perfect personification of summer and fall leaves, and it just drew me in, I HAD to take a closer look. WONDERFUL texture from the folded paper, and the resist from the leaves creates a piece of artwork that should be framed. LOVE the color combination, and the decorative turquoise accent and the same colored frame really brings out the hint of turquoise in the stamped image. I would LOVE to try this technique, I've been so inspired by you, and this must go into my favorites--I cannot wait to check out the rest of your gallery. What a pleasure to see this glorious view of nature at its best!
Thank you for all you have taught me just from seeing this card, I look forward to what I will learn from your other cards in your gallery.
