For Dina's Lend A Hand challenge.
I chose to play with finger printing, at first I drew out little birds, but when I looked into my thumbprint I saw a face so I followed her lead... As I drew her I thought of how lost Cancer patients must feel. So out of touch with themselves as they endure all the changes the illness and medications bring to their body. I had chills realizing the message I was receiving from my own identity to pass on to others, No matter what you endure, you will always be YOU!

I have had so many deep and even teary, emotional moments connecting with my cards and their future recipients. I love that you shared your process and your feelings here as you were drawing your thumb face. This is art, and this is the reason they say the process is more important than the outcome. I hope that it resonates with the recipient in the same way. This is beautiful.

This is so incredible. Your connection to the subject matter shows in this card. I agree with Dina - this is art. This is what art does. You are a huge blessing.

This is so spectacular. I am in awe of your process your image and the complete outcome on this card. I am so excited to be a part of this again this year as I just know we are sending our love and support to these families. So wonderfully done on this card for them.
