MMTPT369 - Make a card inspired by the teapot or the Elegance of Elizabeth Taylor. EPEC: If you have anything gold on the card. This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other! A little payback and reward to the teapotters for always sending their cards to the recipient of the Destination Station.
The image is a DP that I cut down to fit the card. I layered on black and then the rust to pick up the colors on the DP. I added the sentiment and layered on a shimmer gold paper. Finally I added lotus flower. It is a flower with symbolism in Egyptian culture.
I look forward to seeing what the teapot inspires you to create!
Thank you for looking!

Wow - what amazingly perfect DP, Lisa. I was looking at the sneak peek you sent me and DH and I were trying to work out what you had used! I think somewhere in a box I have some papyrus with an Egyptian drawing on it, but it would have taken too long to find. I can just imagine those flowers growing in the Nile, too!

That's pretty amazing DP you had on hand Lisa (though I imagine it's kind of like my hieroglyphic paper -- you had to invent a Cleopatra challenge to figure out how to use it.) Thanks for the fun challenge.

I agreee with Sabrina..this does look like a drawing on papryus like ones I've seen when I went to the King Tut exhibit. What a cool card..love the hint of gold around the sentiment. Fun challenge!

I love this Lisa -- it looks like it is painted on linen cloth... love this!! Love those flowers too! You're the queen of flowers! Fantastic job!
