This is for the Summer Get-together July Progressive pages, step 3. Our Challenge was to:
Do Lots of journaling, add lots of words to tell the story of our page. So I did this with the word strips and a large journaling square.
To add a circle or sun. I did both with the photos and I tucked a sun under the journaling block which I sponged with SU ink.
Add a 'summery embellishment. I used the dingbat font to cut a turtle out with my eclips, then pieced it on my page.

This is so much fun! I love the touches you added. The sun behind your journaling is great and I love that turtle! Love all the words you added with yellow.
I'd love to see some waves near your turtle and your journaling, maybe you could doodle some?

This is so cute!! Not sure it's do-able but how about turtle tracks around the page starting at your stamped turtle?

This is awesome! I like your color combo...so perfect for summer. What a cool idea to use an enlarged dingbat! It turned out great. I love Lou Ann's idea about turtle tracks (not sure what they look like, though!). Also, how about a little grass coming up from the bottom page edge on the right side. Super fun job!
