This is a fun look at two of the new in colors! I saw this on nutmeg 's blog (http://nutmegcreations.blogspot.com/...-results=7&m=0) and had to try it! You just wet your watercolor paper and lay down a lot of color. I tried not to overlap too much so the colors didn't get muddy. I LOVE the way it came out and the thinlit was the perfect addition. Notice that I finally did the "wind up the twine " thing. Looks good I think.

Oooh--I love this! Especially the way the green came out--it has the look of a real watermelon rind, and the red pulp looks so juicy! Yum.
Adding the "sunshine" sentiment just makes it feel that much more like summer.
