This week's CAS Challenge is to make a card to thank Angie (ohmypaper!) for her work as a CAS Hostess. I have combined this with Joan's TLC Challenge to use ink to splatter.
I went through my scrap pieces of glossy c/s - ones that I have already coloured, using ink, in some form - decided on this particular one and splattered Baja Breeze ink over it with a toothbrush. Adhered to a piece of Baja Blue C/S and raised this panel, using dimensionals, on the embossed bg. Stamped sentiment, added the candy dots, and stamped and fussy cut the 2 step flower.
No matter how many photos I took of this card I either got shine from the glossy c/s or the embossed bg not looking sharp!! In the end, I just had to settle for this!
TFL!

Lovely, Sue. We all know how hard it is to get good pics! Your color combo is wonderful!

This is beautiful, Sue. Such a pretty way to do the sentiment. I went through the same thing recently with a photo...just couldn't get it right. :( But, this looks great.

That glossy panel looks beautiful, Sue - almost like marble. And we understand the photography issues, and can imagine how much more lovely it is. I also love that rich red with the soft blue.
