It's the height of cherry blossom season in the Washington, DC, area, but in St. Louis crabapple trees are in full bloom as well. This month's Power Poppy digital image is called Flowering Branches, and I had such fun browsing the internet for photos - wow, the possibilities! I used the entire digital image along with a decorative die and piercing. It's simple, and the sentiments are perfect for Mother's Day. Since my mom is no longer alive, I love this sentiment for someone who's been instrumental in my life.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it. It's available today, and I have more information on my blog.

Wow, Cheryl! Your coloring on this is outstanding! It's so crisp with gorgeous contrasting colors. Your use of the word "simple" sure does not apply to your work! The piercing adds so much to this and how perfectly you it! BEAUTIFUL!

You are so blessed, Cheryl. This is such a gorgeous and elegant card. Don't try to case this one: no one could create anything more lovely and beautiful than this. Wow. PP's sales must be through the roof when your cards on are display!

So very beautiful, Cheryl. I love these blossoms in pink and can't wait to see what other ways you will work it out. This is just gorgeous and beautifully framed.

I have been waiting for this card to get uploaded. Its stunning - as always. This is such a pretty image and is so "Springy". Hope they make this one as a stamp as well. My order from PP arrived during the week - but I haven't had the time to play around with them yet. Its cold and miserable here today so this afternoon is looking good for playing around with inky fingers. Love the colours you have used specially against that crisp white die and that lovely burgundy background.
