Every iteration I make goes more quickly.
(Original instructions here: http://www.mixed-up.com/mary/morestu...ruction658.jpg. I've streamlined as follows:
stamped the candles rather than cutting/adhering from CS; 10 candles to a surface rather than 5; eliminated the ribbon; used DSP for the 'cake'. )
These make nice group-cards as there is plenty of space for folks to sign.
I adhered die cuts on the front of the card and a trio of Stampendous Class A'Peel Stickers then sponged around the perimeter of the card front.
There are a total of 7 "panels" with 10 candles each for a total of 70 candles to celebrate Peter's 70th birthday. I had to mask each panel for either the first or the 10th candle since the candle-stamp had 3 candles.
The length of the card above the candles was sponged with Old Paper then stamped with Artichoke and Scattered Straw using the Gorgeous Grunge.
I stamped 'Happy Birthday' in Versamark on every other panel of the 'cake' and heat embossed with gold EP.
Our Scotsman thoroughly enjoyed his card (now a REAL stretch would have been to shape this into a bagpipe!)
