I had pulled out this piece of dp and started working with it last week. I was called away just as I started when a church member of ours died suddenly and this is the first chance I've had to stamp since! Life is just CRAZY!
Anyway-what I had done so far was to dip my finger in Inka Gold and smear some around the gears that were already on the dp and along the edges of it. Today's mixability challenge is metallics so I went forward with the gold theme. I laid my stencil down and used some spray around the numbers; it smells so wonderful as it is instant coffee granules in water. I didn't want a spattered look so I used a paper towel to dab over the numbers and spray. I diecut two gears and 2 arrows from metallic gold paper. I used a brad to form clock hands with the arrows. I took my Sharpie gold paint pen to spatter gold onto the card and to gild the edges. I had a mini flourish that I'd made earlier by dipping it into some leftover inks I had from another project. I stamped my sentiment in Onyx and embossed in black. I put this all onto my A7 base.

Fantastic mixed media card. The colors are so rich and beautiful.... they remind me of a box of chocolate candies. The sentiment is so cleaver. Terrific creation.
