I'm trying to be brave this year and do things outside of my comfort zone. REALLY high on the list is trying new techniques (yes, I'm a-skeered...), so I thought that today's challenge was a good place to start. It WAS a challenge (easy as I know it should have been). I threw away several earlier attempts, and I didn't like the entire piece of stamped paper I ended up using, so I cut an oval and mounted it on a panel embossed with the same folder that I used for the stamping. I kept the rest of the card simple so the hearts could take center stage...

Very pretty! Lovely job on the embossing folder technique and some wonderful colors, too.

I love EF stamping but sometimes I do have to toss several pieces of CS before I really have what I am aiming for. I am glad you kept with it! I just love that you used the same EF for the stamping and the background. Your oval looks splendid!!! Terrific card!

I haven't tried that embossing folder stamping technique yet, but I must admit, it kind of intimidates me, too! That said, your efforts sure paid off because this is one fabulous looking card - that folder made a wonderful image, and it is perfect mounted against the same embossed image - love this!
