This is my valentine's card for my husband this year. I used red, black & white paper. I also used the cuttlebug heart blocks folder on the "polished stone" look paper. That look is done using inksentials acid free glossy paper and Adirondack alcohol inks in red pepper, cranberry & wild plum. The hearts were cut out from the cricut wildcard cartridge. The ribbon is actually ribbon from inside a sweater (the thing you're supposed to use to hang them up) and the sentiment is a miscellaneous stamp from a local craft store - embossed in red ink it up ink with a little light pink chalk in the background. I used a corner rounder punch and iridescent 1/2 gems for the corners.

I was just browsing the gallery and this little gem caught my eye. I really like your polished stone and embossed back ground. Great ribbon recycling too! I never use those things inside the sweaters. Your husband is sure to love his valentine this year! tfs

What a sweet card! I love the glowing colours. You have so many great details on this card. The sentiment is perfect; so much better than simply 'Happy Valentine's'. TFS
