I won't bore you with all the details again for my MIX104 monochromatic card, but I wanted to show how versatile backgrounds can be and also the reason why I always use a full A4 sheet of cardstock when I am getting messy with inks, paint, gelli plates etc.
All I did to change the pre coloured piece of cardstock was to add some stenciling using Faded Jeans distress ink and to scrub on some Walnut Stain distress ink and squirt a bit of water on the right hand side. I scrubbed some walnut stain into the left over feathers from the first card.
I stamped the dream catcher directly onto the card using StazOn spiced chai, I didn't add the extra 3D circle to the dream catcher this time. To make the additional feathers sit properly, I used a blade to cut a small portion of the circle and tucked the feather tops underneath. I mounted the card to dark kraft card and doodled a border. I think this would make a good grungy card for a boy or teenager.
Thanks for looking ladies.

Another fabulous work of art! I really don't know which I like better - this has a totally different look, and I'm so glad you explained what you did differently. This one is going into favorites, too!

Holy schmokes, Susie, I like this one just as much, with the stenciling and swirling looking more pronounced - hard to believe you can come up with so many different looks, just by adding another color of ink and pulling out some stencils!!!! Love that the feathers are now in TWO colors with your addition of the brown ink! VERY cool!

Susie, nothing about your description is ever boring! Your designs and ideas are something I look forward to! Love the walnut ink on this one as well. The stenciling gives two different looks to your cards and both are fabulous!

I like this one better than the similar one that got twice as many comments. Funny how everyone's taste is different. I love all the stenciling and stamping on this one, a real piece of mixed media art. Wish you'd do some tutorials on your back ground techniques. You're "FAB-A-LUS"!
