MIX102 - see what creative ways we could use our mixed media to create a representation of static electricity on our projects.
I first brayered bouncing in red in the BG, then used blue ink adding a lot of water and sponged up in many areas that were still white to fill in the color. Then I did the Boken technique with craft white once the red and blue were dry. Once the craft white was dry I Stamped in black the Guitar player then used a versimark pen to go over the larger portions and added black emboss powder. Finally sequins and music notes were added. To me this BG feels like the electric balls that you put your fingers on to move around the electricity. This was fun to create and I actually made 2.
Thanks for looking.

So pretty and creative, Lisa. I love the pinks and blues. It feels like the silhouette person is playing an electric guitar and loud music is blasting. Perfect card for a teenager. So many creative techniques. Into my favs.

I love those electricity balls. The first time I ever saw one I was afraid to put my hand on it. Your background is really cool! Or should I say electric! Love the Rock guitarist!
