 | | A special home decor item designed for a Christmas Class at the library that I taught. It's a Victorian Tussy Mussy. In this case, it's about 11 inches long and designed to hand on a door or door knob - captures small gifts or some potpourri.
Designed the cone template and then decorated it....using the Sizzix poinsettia die - added some dimension - and distressing and gold tips - layered with various branch dies. Final flowers were decorated with some sprinkled snow. The pearl spray that you see in the background is a piece cut from a pearl garland.
The top of the cone is decorated in a long lace and a pleated ribbon of olive green then embellished with a garland of tiny gold "pearls" . I braided ribbon to create the "hanger" for the cone.
