I was tempted by some of the fall photos/items, but then I saw this "screen" with flowers on top that really got me thinking: http://www.blog.resurrectantiques.com/page/3/. (scroll down 5 - on the right) It reminded me of a card by Vicky Gould that I was so intrigued with (IC467, God's Light_vg by Vicky Gould at Splitcoaststampers. This took much more time than I anticipated. The first mistake I made was using a scrolled die for the top, instead of one that leaves a straight line. I decided I needed to cut the tops of the navy pieces to match - a lot of work lining everything up! Then I decorated and assembled all my pieces. Added random Stickles dots for snow. Dies: SB/Bracket Borders One and Labels 18 (bottom) - MB/Deer Trio and Precious snowflakes - Peace/Sizzix Holiday Words - Love/Simon Says.

Your beautiful card (a la Vicky) inspired me to case it this morning for someone special. Thanks for sharing, Priscilla.

How stunning Priscilla - just beautiful. I love your inspiration piece, it takes me back when I was in my house I had 3 doors mounted in the corner of my garden, and they looked like those doors, the only difference I hung a flower box on the middle one. Thanks for the memory.

Priscilla, your extra effort paid off in creating this stylish, elegant and elaborate Christmas card. The die cutting on the top adds so much and your lovely scene in white on the navy is stunning.

Wow! I've never made a card like this. I'll have to give it a try. I'm glad you kept at it Priscilla because it's so lovely. The navy and white colors are striking, and I love the Christmas die cuts.

There is no way I could have made this beautiful card happen! Looking at the gorgeous scrolled top, I can only imagine the trouble making it match! So glad you persisted! This is gorgeous in the blue and white!
