I know this should be in the "anything but a card gallery", but it explains my card. I made these snow people last year and just put them out for my winter decorations. I kept looking at them and wishing that I had a stamp like this. So, I photographed them against the cardstock that I would have used for a card and added a "happy holidays" sign. I printed the photo on cardstock and made a card. I have to leave for work, but I will edit this later with the directions to make the snow people...they are really easy. TFL, Francie
Directions for snow people:
Michales sells a bag of wood pieces for under $4. You need 2 rectangle blocks for each person. The size of the snow people can vary depending on your preference. The body rectangle is 2/3 of the snowman and the hat and head is the other 1/3. Sand all corners to round them. Apply watered down gesso with a sponge applicator. Sand corners for a distressed look after paint dries. The clothes are made by cutting card stock into rectangles a little smaller than the snowman body. I used blue cardstock for the lady and tan for the man. Use different pattern stamps with white heat embossing to decorate the cardstock. Distress the edges and sponge with tea dye ink. Glue black beads for buttons. For the hat color the top half with a black sharpie and sand to distress the hat. Use burlap for the woman and felt for the man around the bottom of the black area for the hat brim. Decorate with brads. Use tiny white beads for the eyes with a dot of white gel pen. Cut the tip of a wood scuewer off and color with an orange sharpie. Make a hole with a nail and glue nose in. Make 2 holes on sides of both snowmen with a nail and glue some twigs in for arms.

These are adorable, Francie! I've moved them to the Chunky Snowman gallery to keep the other block snowmen company - but don't worry! In your own gallery they're still right beside your sweet card. I just love those twiggy arms!!
