As a breast cancer survivor I know first hand how cards can lift your spirits...and that was before I knew about SCS, so the cards that I got were not the gorgeous creations that all of you make. Even though Oct is full of other obligations, I want to make as many cards as possible. So, I am going to the library at lunch. This limits me to prisma pencils...the librarian would flip out if I started spritzing dylusion sprey inks in fushia and teal all over the place. This challenge called for a teddy bear image (I got that right), but it also called for pink. After growing up in a bedroom with a pink gingham bedspread and pink shag carpet...cotton candy pink, I just don't like pink. So, I used this week's beautiful fall challenge colors. I also flipped the SC509 to a vertical position. I didn't quite remember the layout, and ended up putting the image in the center instead of off center, but I think it us close enough. TFL, Francie

What a cute pie that bear is..you've colored it beautifully and added some whimsical doodling which is always fun. I had to laugh at your pink bedroom...my first room on my own (I shared with my sister til I was was pink, too..my mom's idea..not mine. A few years later she gave in to me painting it..yellow! Good for you creating on your lunch hour to get in as many HYCCT challenges as you can!

My room was pink too.........again, not my choice. From one breast cancer survivor to another.....good for both of us!! I love the bright colors for your bear and dp. Well done!

Francie, this adorable and sure to encourage the recipient. I have to chuckle. I now have this vision of you sitting in a library, holding yourself back from using your spritzing sprays :-). Had to be a difficult thing to do. And you still ended up with Such a sweet card in bright cheery colors :-)

So adorable...and your coloring is beautifully done. Love the half hidden flowers on the opposite corners of your main panel. Lovely choice of DPs too.

Francie, this card is absolutely wonderful! I am in awe of your coloring with the pencils and gamsol--I need to get mine out and show them a little love! The bear is adorable, and the layout is great, too. Love the doodling!
