This came out totally different then what I had in mind. So glad that happened. hehe
First off, this is for the QFTD challenge. Elizabeth, palparis, is our new Queen. Congrats! I chose to case this card using the layout minus the button tab.
Then for the MIX and F4A challenges here is what I did....
I made a gelli print bg by brayering paint on my plate then rolling a small rubber ball over top making a complete mess on my hands. Pulled the print. Added another color rolled the ball again plus the sides of a chlorine lid which is grooved. Pulled the print. Added more paint, design, pulling a print. The last time I put a stencil of circles on the plate brayered paint over top and pulled a print. Done
Stamped the images, colored with acrylic paints, adding doodles with the molotow markers. Also stamped the two word sentiment from Dina Wakley.
Using black and white paint and a splatter brush I added tiny speckles over top.
Cut my panel out with deckle scissors and put it on a turquoise card. Then I took a stencil from Stencil Girl, added paint to it and tried to stamp it so to speak on the edge. Didn't work that well so I did it several more times. Ended up adding a touch of color so I then just laid the stencil down and traced it on. Done.
Whew this sounds like a lot of work but trust me it wasn't. I did have a blast making it! Hope you like it.....TFL :0)
Hi Sis!
P.S.....looks like I am stuck in a rut on my chosen colors this week. hehe

I don't have a clue what you were talking about, since I know nothing of gelli plates, but I know what I like and I like the results! That's an awesome back ground, and cool flower and birds.

Love your flower and the cute birdies. I really like how you achieved your background. Cool idea with the grooved lid.
The pencil was pretty messy too!
