I started with a water color and after it was dry, I spritzed with Walnut Stain, then die cut a rectangle, the fern and punched 3 dots out of the middle of that. I cut a piece of SB craft foil as a back ground for my fern - this foil does not cut well - and BTW - it's very easy to cut your hand on it.
edit: not a serious cut - but, WOW did it sting!

Hope you dont' have scars from this beauty! The metal is such a unique addition, and a fun layer for your fern frond!! Thanks for playing along in my DTGD challenge today!

Are you speaking from experience about how easy it is to cut yourself on the foil? I will say that the foil is really pretty embossed like that. If we look closely, will we see blood?

This is stunning with all of the metal shimmer! I think crafting is a dangerous hobby! Scissors, paper trimmers, heat guns, metal...we are taking our lives into our hands! Thanks so much for playing along with us!
