I chose this pretty birthday water color card set as my inspiration: http://www.leifshop.com/collections/...color-card-set. Using Distress stain, I created a water color wash. I cut the thank you and the dots out of the wash, then mounted the piece on mint paper and attached to card base. Took white cardstock and die cut the circle, then cut the music. Attached the cut piece to the wash and then inlaid the music. Added the sentiment and dots for balance. This layout is a shameless CASE of a card I saw on Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/407998047465405167/. I''m going to make 6 or eight more of this design with different color washes for OWH. Music die is Memory Box, Virtuoso.

LOL - no CASE is shameless, your link would not work for me soI could not view the card. No doubt you did it justice and the Pinterest poster would be flattered that they inspired you.
Especially love that you made the dots from the wash background. Ties it all together.

Makes me think of music as it goes around the world. Does that make sense? Love the colors!

This is gorgeous, Priscilla! Love the watercolor wash look - I'll have to try that technique because the results are amazing! Love the music die and the pretty mint green color too.
