I made this card for the, SC496, sketch challenge. I used some of my scraps for this one. I used white cs, a frosty pale yellow cs, ans black cs, all from a local craft shop. I stamped my rose onto white cs, in black StaZon ink, and shaded the rose in with a gold Geli pen. Then I layered it onto black cs. Next, I used two strips of the yellow cs, and added the black strip in the center, I glued these strips to a scrap of white cs, and put it through my cuttlebug with my butterfly ef. I layered this panel onto black cs, then I layered my rose panel onto the striped panel. I added three black sequins, and three yellow gems, and a white bow and ribbon to complete my card. Great challenge, Thanks for looking.

Beautiful color combo! I'm always looking for a buttery yellow like this to pair with black. Thanks for the inspiration, too, for the embossing. I never thought of embossing connected strips like this. You've made my day!

I really love the rose stamp you used on this one Marg. The light yellow really softens the feel of the fabulous colour combination. Added bling is the perfect finishing touch.
