Hi there everybody! I hope you are having a wonderful Father's Day today! I wanted to share the card I made for the current challenge that is going on over on the Power Poppy Blog. You should really check this one out.....a chance to win a wonderful prize and have your card featured! For my card I used Power Poppy's beautiful Tulips digital image and sentiment. I printed it out on white card stock, colored it with copics and matted it on a layer of Early Espresso card stock. Then I printed my sentiment, die cut it out, sponged on some ink and matted it in more dark brown card stock. My card base is a double layer of Early Espresso and then layered with my designer papers. There are two ribbons used on this card. I wanted to give my image the look of a piece of artwork mounted with a pretty bracket so I used a tag die to make my bracket and finished it with a decorative metal brad. You can see more details and pictures on my blog. I hope you have an awesome day and thanks so much for taking a peek!

This card looks like a very expensive, vintage book one might find in an upscale boutique. Wouldn't this be beautiful on the night stand in a guest room? The coloring is exquisite - I keep looking at and studying those leaves - aah A lovely sweet offering, Katie.
