I started by stamping the poppies in black. Then I masked the flowers and leaves and did 4 strokes of a watercolor wash over the top. I used ultramarine blue that I had neutralized with a touch of cadmium red light and a littler touch of cadmium yellow light. When it was dry I rubbed the mask off.
Then I decided that the flowers needed to be colored instead of left "white". They have the yellow and an orange I mixed with yellow and red.
The leaves are a green mix I had on my palette that I am unsure of all the colors involved.

What a beautiful modern feel to the cards and the watercoloring technique you did is inspirational (though I would not have had the patience to mask the leaves, lol.) Gorgeous results! Just love it!
