A simple, whimsical card for today's Arbor Day challenge (thanks, Linda, I love this challenge, may have one more card up my sleeve today). I own only the four Copics listed; too expensive for me. Used them to make a blended background, then stamped my fun trees in all green Distress inks. This will be for my good friend who is retiring after teaching 6th grade for 40 years. She is a born teacher. Her husband died unexpectedly last September and I'm sure she's decided it's time to 'do nothing', although she has lots she wants to do. She is one of the best people ever to walk on this earth.

Gorgeous background, great sentiment. I'm sure your friend will love this card, I know I do. How sad for her, though, to be starting into a new phase of her life on her own.

OK. You used copics to make that background??? You will have to tell me how you did that? I don't think I could accomplish it. This is so soft and beautiful. And as for the sentiment "doing nothing" sounds SO good.

You did a awesome job on the background, and I love the whimsical trees! Terrific sentiment!
