The CAS challenge was to honor Diane(fionna51) with a CASE of one of her cards. I chose THIS CARD.
For the TLC, Judy asked us to use the painting style of "pointillism". It was devised by the Post-Impressionist French painter, Georges Seurat. It is laying down a series of small dots to give shape and the feeling of shimmering light. One of his most famous paintings, "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" hangs in the Art Institute of Chicago. Stephen Sondheim wrote the musical "Sunday in the Park with George" based on this painting. A little Art History. : )

I've seen this done before but yours is perfect!!! Love the way you shaded those gorgeous flowers. This even gives dimension to the tiny petals. Sallie, this is beautifully done!
