Happy Teapot Tuesday everyone. Since it's the last Tuesday of the month we get to send our cards to each other!! wooo hooo We are focusing our tickles on garden fairies this week. We are suppose to use the fairy of our birth month but I don't have a cherry fairy stamp. I DO have a lavender fairy stamp and since my birthday is in July it will do for a summer birthday!! The mascot for my Herb Society is also lavender and it's my VERY favorite herb. I've traveled to England, France, New England, Washington, Michigan, Texas, Arizona, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio all in search of the wonderful lavender plants. Her wings and the butterflies are covered with stickles so they sparkle. I will dab a little lavender essential oil on the ribbon before I mail it so that it enhances the lavender experience. I also love building fairy gardens....so this challenge is totally up my alley!!!
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Happy Tickle Day

I just love to walk in fields of lavender! We have a lavender farm not far from here, and it's glorious come June! This beautiful lavender fairie will bring joy and calmness to the whole gallery today, and to the recipient when it is received!

DH wants to try planting lavender this year. I know when I was landscaping at a couple homes they had some lavender adn they took over the spots and we had to cut down so much. maybe they all need lots of space, but think we will give it a try. Very pretty picture with the lavender fairy having fun and she has a beautiful traveling companion too...TFS..:0)

Tina this is so beautiful. Your little lavender fairy is gorgeous. I think you need to add Australia to your lavender tour. I will pick you a bunch and sit it on our craft desk!!

This reminds me of last year when we went to Europe. When we visited Avignon we drove through Provence at the peak of lavender blooming. The colour and smell were intoxicating. This is wonderful.
