This week we are going to Derby, KS to bring some cheer to Harriet who is a good friend of Sheri's (ksnurse).
Harriet loves music and nature but I went with a nature theme. My grandfather grew Dahlia's and they always made me happy so I hope they will bring some cheer to Harriet too. Inside sentiment reads, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. TFL

The minute I saw this in the gallery I thought of my grandfather as he grew Dahlias, then I read your description....it is a lovely feeling when you create a card that reminds you of someone dear, isn't it? Robin I am sure Harriet will live this too.

Beautiful colouring and a beautiful CAS card, Robin. I agree - dahlias are happy-making flowers. Till the earwigs start falling out of them, LOL. I've only grown them once or twice, but I love seeing them in the Botanic Gardens. DH's favourite is a deep crimson and white one like the big one in your image.
