I wanted to create an unfinished frame stamping two corners of flowers facing diagonally. I heat embossed them in white, so that they would resist the water coloring. This way the effect is very subtle. I wanted to keep harmony with those delicate corners, so I embossed the sentiment in gold, on vellum and added some crystals. I used a salmon card base, which coordinated perfectly with the water colored blossoms.
Something I did this time to get this soft coloring is I didn't dry colored directly on the image (with the watercolor pencils), instead I did it on a scrap piece of paper, and picked the color up with the wet brush, that way no pencil trace is left on the final design and the result is much more impeccable.
