 | | Melissa Banbury had a 3D butterfly on a card some time ago. This is my take on it. I love this Sweet Sorbet DSP. It gives the impression of movement. I stamped the butterfly twice on vellum, with Versamark. One was embossed with black embossing powder, the other with gold (for the inside of the wing). Colored both with the SU markers. Glue the wrong side of both butterflies together with the glue stick. I find that with vellum the glue stick does not buckle this paper like liquid glue. To keep the wings open I glued a ramdon button from my stash up close the the body so it does not show. When dry fold in half and use dimensionals to glue to the card.
For this March CC challenge this card can fit in both the DF and SF category.
I will be posting the dimensions and supplies on my blog.
