Happy Anniversary, Ways to Use It challenge...always a great way to head into the weekend, don't you think? I would so love to play hooky from work and create anniversary cards all day...but in lieu of that, I've just thrown it all on this card and I'll call it good!
Here's the first card for son Sam's birthday next week. I've circled the date and month on the Cat's Life Press date stamp. It was stamped on journal paper, torn from the spiral binder, embossed and then placed in the hands of....(cool Invoke Arts image). Underneath the hands are the LEFT coast states...we've lived in every one of them, but as you might have noticed, it's OR that is in our heart. The tiny wooden heart was in a recent RAK from Shadow's Mom...I added a small brass star under the VWvan painted in "THE" UO colors (sorry, my oHIo friend...big smile) I also shadow stamped musical instruments around the base of the card...an ode to the fact it won't be long before Sam's hitting the road with his music. The map paper is a marvelous funky 12x12 from Studio Calico.
I know I piled it on with this one, but a quarter of a century is a lotta liven'. Thanks so much for stopping in for a peek...remember when you were 25? I'd so love to hear something memorable for you from that age!

Fantastic card - I am sure your son will love it! When I was 25, I had my own racing car and rally car and was competing in races/rallies all over the state in which I live - FUN and exciting times!
A card to be treasured for sure, such a fantastic, thoughtful and meaningful work of art, I especially love your son's type-print name in the upper corner!!!!!

Oh I just love it when you "pile it on". You HAVE been around, haven't you. This is an awesome collage - again! You sure do know how to lay things out. Sam will love it.

Love your timely collage! The V-bus really brings back some memories. At 25 I was newly married and looking for work that would make use of (what I thought) were my obvious talents. My son at 25 is doing the same. The work thing, not the marriage thing. :-) I think it is harder for the young folk now then when I was 25. Happy birthday to Sam and have a safe time on the road!

Goodness, Susan - there are so many meaningful details in this, it's a wonderful gift in its own right. My favourites are the little camper van and, of course, the guitar!
