St. Patrick's Day Wreath
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: bpnaz

Hello and Happy Saint Patrick's Day,

Thank you for viewing my St. Patrick's Day "Irish" door wreath.

For more details, visit my blog:
http://cardsbybecky.blogspot.com/201...ricks-day.html

I purchased most of the items at my local Joann's craft store and utilized green mesh to make most of the base; I then made the banner with the word "Irish" on it and placed a figurine on each side of the banner to "hold" it up. This is the first mesh wreath that I have attempted to make and I think it turned out okay for my first try! I think the bowler hat in the center came out nicely, I saw the hat at Joann's and couldn't resist utilizing it within the center of the wreath...adorable! I looked on Etsy for examples and I was shocked to see most mesh wreaths similar to this selling for upwards of $200 dollars, wow! xx

I had several of my neighbors stop and ring my doorbell to ask me about my Valentine's Day wreath, to see click here, I have been working on my Easter wreath and I think I will make some for my neighbor's as well since they gave me such nice compliments. I will post pics when I am done, so check back for my Easter wreath!

Thank you for looking and Happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone, Becky

p.s. After looking at the photo, I realized the banner was too low and I have added some things (including legs...doesn't every wreath need legs? ha ha). Hugs!

GREAT wreath! Love the striped legs hanging down. Terrific layers of elements to gaze upon.
