Today's Featured Stamper is stampinscotsgirl. A fairly new gallery to me, but Dawn has some mighty pretty cards posted there.
I chose this card to case. I recently bought some gesso since I bought a plastic stencil by mistake. I obviously need a lot more work with stencils and gesso. My first time using the gesso also.
Enjoy your reign, Dawn. Thanks for the inspiration!

For the uninitiated (I've never used gesso) your card is beautiful! And I'm pretty sure that an experienced gesso-user would think the same thing. I like the white against the pretty deep red floral background. Great job!

I've never used gesso, Vicky, just embossing paste, but I sure love stencils, and the way you've added the pretty white flower makes a lovely addition of texture and dimension - love that butterfly die-cut, it's one of my favourites! Have a wonderful Sunday, Vicky!

Ooooh how pretty Vicky!!! I too am inexperienced at gesso except on non paper products, but it looks so beautiful to me! The pop of white against the rich hues of the dp is striking and beautifully sets off this gorgeous butterfly die cut!!! Yes.... it's beautiful!!!
