you'll have to close your eyes and imagine a starry night, or come close to your monitor to see the stars of my card today! Thank you Sabrina for the challenge to see stars...
This Indian saying:
Perhaps They Are
not stars in the sky,
But rather openings
in Heaven where the
Love of our lost ones
pours through
and shines down
to let us know they are happy.
How very encouraging at a time our hearts are broken in grief! I love this sentiment. I stamped it on Stazon on packaging acetate and place it in front of the glorious heavenly dp (have forgotten the name, will post will I find it). If you look closely you will see the twinkles and sparkles of stars. Trimmed it out with the German scrap and placed the panel above a swirly dp. This all on top of an embossed golden bg. I couldn't resist adding this gorgeous ribbon which is unusual for me.
So I am thinking stars, universes of them...you'll just have to imagine how very big they are!
Thanks for much for stopping by and always, always your comments! Shine on loved ones, shine on....
editing to add the paper under the sentiment is from Fabscraps from their Little Peeps collection. It is 'Dreams'. Thanks for your help, tessaduck!!!

I love your German silver scrap. I was trying to put my finger on what your sentiment reminded me of, and I think perhaps it's something from St. Exupery's The Little Prince. I'll have to pull it out and read it again!
A beautiful combination of papers and texture - I could look at this for a lot longer if I weren't in the middle of preparing dinner!

You must have a brilliant mind when it comes to creativity! What a powerful sentiment and LOVE the background for it. That one is a must have for sure. What a beautiful silver border for it too. Oh my gosh, Susan, I LOVE this!
