My first attempt at the TLC didn't turn out very well... I think I'm one-layer challenged. LOL
For this card, I cut a mask with a deckled edge die, sponged a rectangle and stamped the flowers. Next I used the die cut as a mask and used a dotted stencil to sponge a background. It still needed something, so I sponged a burlap stencil in a lighter shade, then outlined the flower panel with a fine-point marker. The tiny spots were a happy accident... I was trying to re-ink my stamp pads.

Hilda, you did an incredible card for the OLC challenge. Your bg is wonderful and I like the burlap texture that you added. Your masking is impeccable....and not always easy to do with positive/negative masks.

So neat. very pretty all in blues...my fav. colors. You did well for a one layered card. the soft sponging adn soft light blue in the bg was a super thought and LOVE the black edging with your fine marker.. and hey isn't it cool when a mistake or "oops " works so well....yah...super...TFS...:0)
